The Application Process

Once you’ve chosen your schools, it’s time to apply for admission and a Tuition Exchange scholarship.

Top 10 Things to Know Before You Complete the TE EZ-Application

1.  You can create only one TE account.

2. You (not your parent!) must create the account using your information.

3. Use a personal email address that you can access long-term.

4. Your password must be at least 12 characters long and include one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, a number and a special character.

5. You should complete the TE EZ-Application only if you are applying for a Tuition Exchange Scholarship for the first time.

6. Continuing TE Scholars (those already receiving a Tuition Exchange Scholarship) should not submit an application.

7. There are only two reasons to submit another TE EZ-Application: 1) if you plan to transfer to another TE school or 2) if your parent changes employers and now works for a new TE school.

8. You cannot change the employee (parent information) after submitting your application. If the employer information changes, a new TE EZ-Application is required, listing the new employer.

9. The maximum number of active schools on your TE EZ-Application at any one time is 20. You can add or delete schools at any time. If you are no longer interested in a school, please remove them from your list. That lets the school know you no longer wish to be considered for a TE scholarship at their institution. In addition, please notify the admissions office.

10. You can log back into your TE account to check the status of your application at any time.  Check your TE account regularly for updates!
